Standard Ward
Standard accommodation is provided in three or four bed rooms. The cost of this is paid by your provincial health coverage.
Private Rooms
For an extra cost, private rooms are available in the Health Centre. A portion of this cost may be covered by your private medical insurance (e.g. Blue Cross).
Semi-private or private rooms may not always be available.
Where can family/relatives stay?
Reasonably priced accommodation for relatives of patients or for outpatients requiring tests are available in the Nurses Residence, which is connected to the Health Centre and Assiniboine Centre.
Single rooms – one twin bed, desk, chair, mirror & sink, and a wardrobe. $32.10/night and $224.70/week (includes taxes)
Double rooms – two twin beds, two desks, two chairs, and 2 wardrobes. $44.70/night and $312.90/week (includes taxes)

After hours and on weekends the Security Officer on duty should be contacted by calling (204) 578-4000 and asking to have security paged.
