Bus Service
Brandon City Transit provides services to Brandon Regional Health Centre every ½ hour
during the day Monday through Saturday. A bus shelter is located just south of the Health Centre on
McTavish Avenue. The cost is $2
.00 for adults & postsecondary students and $1.50 for students or
seniors. Exact fare is required. For more information, please call the Brandon Transit Information

Parking Conveniently located across from the Main Entrance. A fee of $1.00 for the first hour, followed by .50/hr thereafter to a daily maximum of $6.00. Pay station accepts bills, coin or credit card.
Bank Machine
A Royal Bank banking machine is located in the basement of the General Centre and can be
used 24 hours a day.
Cashier's Office
Bill payments (i.e. television rental, telephone rental, crutches, etc.) may be paid at
the Cashier's office located in the Nurses Residence room N326.
Pay Phones
Pay phones are located in the lounges of the General Centre, in the entrance of the Nurses
Residence, and in the phone booths in the Assiniboine Centre.
Meals & Snacks
The cafeteria is found in the basement of the General Centre and is open from 7:30 am to
7:00 pm. The Menu Hot-Line at 578-2095 provides information on patient and cafeteria menus. Vending
machines are also available and can be found in the basement of the General Centre, on the main
floors of the Clinical Services Building, Assiniboine Centre and the Nurses Residence.
A Tim Hortons is located on the main floor of the Health Centre beside the gift shop. Hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 6:00 am to 8:00 pm and on weekends/holidays, 6:00 am - 6:00 pm.
Patient Meals
Patient meals are ordered by physicians. Menus are reviewed daily by Nutrition Services
Diet Technicians. Breakfast is served from 7:30 - 8:45 am, lunch from 11:30 - 12:45 pm, and supper
from 4:30 - 5:45 pm.

Patient Telephones
Patient Telephones are available on the Nursing Units. Please ask the nursing staff to
bring in the telephone to your bedside.
Calls can be received between 7:30am and 10:00pm daily. There is a daily charge
for the telephone service.
Incoming callers using Touch Tone telephones can call you directly by dialing 578-2105 then enter your four digit extension number. Incoming callers using Rotary Dial telephones can dial 578-4000 and give the hospital operator your four digit extension number.
If you change rooms, remember to let your family and friends know your new telephone
number.
