Booking Procedure: Appointments can be made by physicians, family members or patients themselves.

Hours: 0800 – 1630 Monday – Friday (Evenings and after hours as required)

Location: BRHC Clinical Services – Main Floor

• The Heart Program offers education and support to patients with heart disease. This includes patients with angina, heart attack (myocardial infarct),after heart bypass surgery, heart failure, and angiogram education.
• The Heart Program nurses visit patients in the hospital and after discharge through both home and office visits.
• Ongoing multidisciplinary heart disease classes, for patients and their families, are also offered.
  Class topics: Heart disease and chest pain management, heart healthy diet, heart disease and exercise, coping with heart disease and stress management, and heart medications.
• Heart Failure classes are offered as needed.
