Well baby clinics are located in The Town Centre and are offered by each area Public Health Nurse on a regular basis.
Daytime and evenings appointments may be scheduled. Public Health Nurses provide education/counselling to parents regarding child care, nutrition, safety, parenting and community resources. Vaccinations are offered according to the provincial routine childhood immunization schedule. Breastfeeding is encouraged and supported.
