Diabetes and Heart Health Promotion
formally called Prairie Health Matters
Located in the Town Centre, this program has a registered nurse and dietitian to help you (individually or in a group) learn about a healthy heart and diabetes. It serves all people in Brandon and Assiniboine Regional Health Authorities who have one or more of the following:
- High blood pressure
- High blood cholesterol
- Heart disease
- Diabetes
- Anyone who feels they are at risk for developing heart disease or diabetes and wants to do something about it
- Family or friends interested in learning about any of these conditions.

A foot nurse is available on the fourth Thursday of each month to do a foot assessment and help people with diabetes to learn about foot care.. Book your appointment now.
