Health Promotion Program Health Promotion is the process of enabling people to increase control over, and to improve their health. Strategies that are commonly used in health promotion include building healthy public policies, creating supportive environments for health, strengthening community action and developing personal health skills. All of these strategies support making healthy choices, the easy choices. Mobile Wellness Screens Community Nutritionist: The community nutritionist’s role is to work with the community to promote healthy eating and provide information and support. She works with people of all ages in promoting healthy eating throughout the lifecycle (families, new parents, seniors, etc.) Working primarily with groups, the community nutritionist will provide you with nutrition resources/information and do presentations if available, at your school, worksite, daycare, health fair or meeting/conference upon request .
