Yearly Campaigns

Annual fund-raising campaigns are held during the year as another means of raising funds to improve patient care and to increase the profile of the Foundation in both Brandon and the Westman area.

Spring Campaign

A spring newsletter and donation campaign is coordinated every April with a mass mail out sent to past donors. Community support has remained strong over the years with very faithful donors. Since the inception, the Spring Campaign has raised close to $150,000. A donation form can be printed and mailed to the BRHC Foundation at any time throughout the year.

Tree of Lights Campaign/Pancake Breakfast
The Pancake Breakfast is the official kick-off for the Tree of Lights Campaign. This year’s event will be held on Friday, November 26, 2010, in the gym at the Nurses Residence. The Assiniboine Community College Culinary Arts students, under the direction of instructor Matt Otten, will prepare breakfast. Entertainment is provided and local celebrities and hospital staff volunteer their time and talents to make this a very pleasant event.

Fond memories of family members and friends are especially important during the Christmas season. You can honor someone you hold close by lighting a light of caring during the holiday season. With a minimum $10 donation, a light will be turned on in the name of the person you indicate. The Tree of Lights Campaign has raised more than $236,000 since its introduction in 1994. A donation form can be printed and mailed to the BRHC Foundation at any time throughout the year.
