The first Foundation Lottery was held in the fall of 2008 following a commitment by the Foundation Board of Directors to raise $2 million under the name of Westman Cares!

 We know that sometimes the road back to good health can be a long one. The Brandon Regional Health Centre Foundation wants to make the journey down that road a little easier.

Proceeds from the BRHC Foundation Westman Cares! Cancer Lottery will assist in the construction of the “A Sense of Home” Residence; a new, state-of-the-art residence that will offer warm and inviting accommodations and a comfortable, positive environment for the hundreds of patients who will be travelling to Brandon from surrounding communities for cancer treatment.

The location of 521 Frederick Street offers close and convenient proximity to both the Western Manitoba Cancer Centre and the Brandon Regional Health Centre that will help ease travel time and associated costs, so that patients and their families can focus on the most important journey … the one back to good health.
