Nutrition Services operates all patient and staff food services for the Brandon Regional Health Authority. They serve approximately 650,000 patient meals per year and 200,000 staff/visitor meals per year. Nutrition Services also runs a consulting program, providing Registered Dietitian services to external long-term care facilities. They own and operate all Brandon RHA vending services.

The Department of Nutrition Services Brandon RHA, is a diverse team of people dedicated to providing appropriate nutritional management and the production of safe, nutritious and appetizing food to patients, staff, visitors and community clients.
Our Department
Nutrition Services operates all patient/resident and staff food services, vending services and catering services for the Brandon RHA facilities. We serve approximately 650,000 patient / resident meals per year and 200,000 staff/visitor meals per year. We provide meals to Ventures, Crisis Services Unit and the Child and Adolescent Treatment Centre. Nutrition Services also runs a consulting program, providing clinical Registered Dietitian services to external long-term care facilities. Nutrition Services is made up of two components, Patient / Resident Services and Cafeteria Services. They work closely with the Clinical side of nutrition services through Registered Dietitians.
